SEATTLE—We’re learning who is next in line to get the coveted COVID-19 vaccine. The CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, ACIP, spelled it all out today, saying they recommend frontline essential workers and people over 75 in the next priority group for the vaccine. In a 13-1 vote,the ACIP said who’s next to get a COVID-19 vaccine comes down to the balance between saving lives and keeping society functioning. The chair of the special committee is from the University of Washington.
